  2. Hey! :) Is there any chance for me to get your hair files so I can recolor them myself? I actually like this style for the Sims 4 and appreciate your work with it, I think it's cute and suits the environment. However, the color choices aren't the best...and because of that I'd like to recolor them! I'd be really happy! ^-^ -Peace, Angeel (I wasn't sure my comment went through properly, that's why you're seeing two if that's the case)

    1. Just download the package and everything you need is there

    2. But it's not the dds file, it's only the finished package file, I can't open 'em in PS, or am I wrong? I'm not usually doing this kind of stuff so therefore I'm not that experienced. I'm using Sims4Studio because I found that tool easier to understand than the other way around... heh...

    3. Just open the package file on Sims 4 Studio and then export the textures.
      See the tutorial

You should do the same with the hair

    4. Okay, I've watched the video now, however, I still don't get it because you worked with two files that already existed in Sims4Studio, so of course you can export those files easily and do what you did in PS. But, I can't open a package file in Sims4Studio, it has to be a dds file you import, and then go ahead and export that texture. So for example, if I choose a similar hair to your own mesh, Dream Hair, the short straight hair for females in Sims4Studio, then sure, I can export that texture, but it will still be the short hair from EA and not your Dream Hair texture. I can't open your package file in PS either since it's a package file, it has to be dds... so actually I'm a little confused here. If it's too much to explain, then I won't bother you anymore.

  5. But I have tried that and when I'm in the folder I can't even choose that file because it's not there - because it's not the right format!

    Oh, good! ^-^
I appreciate your patience with me, ha ha...

    1. You are not able to open the package file on Sim4 Studio?

      Delete
    2. Correct! You can only open dds files! You see, when you export a texture from Sims4Studio it becomes a dds file you can modify. After that, when you import it back into Sims4Studio, it's still a dds file but when you save the whole thing, that's when it becomes a package file.

    3. Yes, so first you must open the package file on Sims4 Studio in the first button "My projects" and then once opened you can now export the textures in .dds

    5. Hey, me again! I have a question for you, is there any chance you could fix the ends of this hair ---> http://dvdsims.blogspot.se/2014/10/classic-long-hair.html - I love that style and it's so well done, but I HATE the ends, oh, god, it bothers me so much...I really want that hairstyle, I actually tried to fix it myself but because I'm so inexperienced I couldn't do it... I did leave a comment to him, but I deleted it and figured I could ask you, also because I know you create as well... :) -Peace, Angeel
